In 1996 I started taking pictures. Before and since, I have had the great fortune to experiment with many art forms, but photography touches my heart and feeds my soul like nothing else. For me, creating a photo is not about the equipment I use, but about learning to slow down, really appreciate life, and take it all in. It's about raising questions and learning to feel at peace when there isn’t always an answer. Just like in life, the journey is more intriguing than the destination. In my own photographic journey, discovering new ways of looking is more intriguing than visually capturing a moment in time.
